Thank you for your interest in becoming a Secret Santa!   With your help we were able to support over 6500 isolated seniors in 2023.   There has been a large increase in the number of seniors we have referred to us this year and we anticipate helping between 6500 and 7000 and seniors this Christmas.

We ask that you take a minute and read the following before you sign up:

This year we will again be supplying boxes that you will need to pick up from one of our distribution points.

We will send a separate email with the pick-up dates, locations and addresses. We will make every effort to have distribution points throughout Calgary and at least one location in Airdrie.

Gifts must go in the boxes that we provide. It is not an option to use your own box or gift bag this year. We appreciate your understanding and support with this and realize that this is an added step for you.

The dimensions of the box are 16” x 12” x 12” which is just a bit bigger than a file/banker’s box. Care providers have been advised of the box size and will be submitting gift suggestions that are appropriate.

Each box will have a space on the outside to write the seniors name, id number and site id. Content lists will need to be taped to the outside of the box. We encourage you to decorate your boxes with stickers or drawings if you like and the gifts inside can be individually wrapped.

Drop off locations for the 2024 season will all be outdoors. Trucks will be parked in the parking lots of the following Calgary Police Service offices from 8am till 6pm Friday November 22^nd, Saturday November 23^rd, and Sunday November 24^th.

• District 8: 450 Midpark Way S.E.
• Spyhill Services Centre: 12500 85 Street N.W.

As well as at our Christmas warehouse, location TBD. It is your responsibility to get the gifts to the drop off locations, in CALGARY.

Unfortunately, we are unable to pick up your gifts.

By signing up you are committing to providing a gift for the number of seniors you indicate. If for some reason you are unable to fulfill your commitment you must notify us as soon as possible so that a new Santa can be found for your senior. This is extremely important! Last year there were over 300 Santas who did not return their gifts.

If you register you are guaranteed to receive the number of seniors that you request so if you do not receive a profile by the end of first week of November, please get in touch with us as there has likely been an issue with the email.  Please keep an eye on your spam folders and if possible, follow our social media for updates.

We ask that all items that go into your gift be new.

The average cost to adopt a senior is between $100 and $150 depending on the needs of the senior. Please indicate in the comment section if you can take on a senior with higher cost needs ($225 or so). Also please feel free to indicate if you have any hobbies, interests or cultural background that you may share with a senior.  We will try to match like interests etc. as much as possible.
